Our legs alone don’t do the walking!
We don’t walk without a torso!!
To initiate or simply use the torso in your walk is the elusive obvious. Once you establish your ‘walking engine’ [the area between your shoulders and hips] all else becomes obvious and easy. Easier Alignment, Better Balance and cooperative collaborative Coordination offers an easy, pain free walk. Walking in harmony helps you find YOU.
Through two movement-awareness lessons [from Dr. Feldenkrais’ Library of lessons] you learn that by doing less you discover you can do MORE. By lying down and allowing unnecessary holding patterns quiet – you allow more efficient action to evolve into your everyday actions.
Each Week, you will receive:
TWO Awareness-Movement lessons during class time, 1 in chair
The Lightness of Walking Workbook,
A walking chart for you to journal in each week
A personal coaching session [1on1] on zoom
